In order to help children develop the skills described here, our teachings follows two basic principles: respecting every child’s rhythm and learning through various activities from everyday life and play.
RESPECTING EVERY CHILD’S RHYTHM
We strongly believe that each child is unique and is naturally curious and eager to learn as long as their rhythm and needs are respected.
In order to apply this essential principle, we make sure that:
- Each child receives individual attention
- The motivation of each child within the learning phase he’s experiencing is taken into account
- Each child’s physiological needs are respected (need for quiet, need to sleep, need to get physically active, …)
LEARNING THROUGH VARIOUS ACTIVITIES FROM EVERYDAY LIFE AND PLAY

We aim to introduce skills to the children through everyday life activities and play. Our goal is to promote self-motivation and to trigger spontaneous learning by proposing meaningful activities to the children.
As an example, the following list presents some typical activities we consider as quality learning supports:
- Walking in nature
- Gardening and growing vegetables
- Cooking
- Taking care of animals
- Activities with the ponies
- Playing with the older children of the Life Learning Project
