Does the organization hire teachers to help students pass their exams?
No, the Life Learning nonprofit association is not a “school” per se. Its pedagogical support is based on self-learning. Many educational tools are made available to student members (including online resources), and it is the young people themselves who help each other through discussions, reciprocal testing, and personal discoveries. Parents and other volunteers are also present to advise and answer questions. If necessary, it is possible to seek the assistance of an external instructor on an occasional basis, but their remuneration is not covered by the nonprofit organization.
Can my child participate in a day of the organization’s activities (free of charge) to get an idea of how it operates?
Yes, anyone interested, whether a student, parent, or volunteer, is welcome to visit the organization to explore the premises, get to know the other students, and get a sense of the self-learning dynamic. The atmosphere is indeed quite different not only from that of traditional schools but also from that of other institutions specializing in preparation for the central examination.
Why are the membership fees for the nonprofit organization so significant?
Life Learning enables young people who have dropped out of school, are depressed, or are not suited to the educational system to regain self-confidence and successfully complete their secondary education. Unfortunately, the government does not provide any financial support for initiatives like ours. The costs must be entirely borne by the parents. That is why the organization encourages donations and sponsorship to help families provide their child with personalized support that meets their needs.
How can I support the organization?
Anyone or any company who recognizes the importance of helping young people who have dropped out of school can donate to the Life Learning nonprofit association. These contributions will primarily be used to offer reductions in membership fees to less privileged families. Unfortunately, the organization does not currently meet the requirements for offering tax-deductible donations. Companies interested in aligning their name with our mission can also sponsor Life Learning activities and benefit from visibility through promotional tools. Please contact the organization for more information.
